Malwarebytes anti-malware is an extremely effective virus removal tool that can seek out and remove many different kinds of malware, and, as with most anti-virus programs, Malwarebytes is very easy to use.
Malwarebytes should be updated before each scan. This ensures that any new threats are added to the scan list. To update the software, click the update tab at the top of the screen and click check for updates.
Simply open up the program and select either the quick scan or the full scan. The quick scan searches for more common types of malware but leaves other kinds unchecked, so it is advisable to use the full scan to make sure that all possible threats are found.
Malwarebytes also comes with FileASSASSIN, which can delete locked files on your computer. To use FileASSASSIN, click the more tools tab and click run tool. Manually find the file you wish to delete and click open. A box will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the file, click yes and you are done.
